About the Author
A lifelong storyteller with a love of music, Amanda creates worlds where darkness, connection and imagination meet.
Amanda began writing as a child, and her early horror stories delighted her mother, mostly for their unintended humour. Music has always been her other great love. Encouraged by her father, a semi-professional jazz pianist, she first sang with his band at fifteen.
The pandemic finally gave her the time to write the novel she had been promising herself for years, and Daughter of Light was born. A wife and mum of four, she still disappears into her own world whenever a story calls.
